RESOLUTION NUMBER 22-23-___ A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF HIGHLANDS COUNTY, FLORIDA, PERTAINING TO AN AMENDMENT TO THE OFFICIAL ZONING ATLAS OF HIGHLANDS COUNTY, FLORIDA AND THAT PROPERTY IDENTIFIED BY THE HIGHLANDS COUNTY PROPERTY APPRAISER THROUGH PARCEL ID# C-08-35-31-030-0050-0010; PROVIDING FOR LEGISLATIVE FINDINGS AND INTENT; PROVIDING FOR AMENDMENT AND ADOPTION; PROVIDING FOR GENERAL CONDITION, RESTRICTIONS AND LIMITATIONS; PROVIDING FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF ADMINISTRATIVE ACTIONS; PROVIDING A SAVINGS CLAUSE; PROVIDING FOR SCRIVENER’S ERRORS; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING AND EFFECTIVE DATE. A PUBLIC HEARING will be held on Amendment Number CPA-23-614SS, Ordinance 22-23-__, and Amendment Number P&Z 2121, Resolution 22-23-___ , by the Highlands County Board of County Commissioners on the 4th day of April 2023, beginning at 9:00 a.m., or as soon thereafter as possible, in the County Commissioners’ Board Room, Highlands County Government Center Building, 600 South Commerce Avenue, Sebring, Florida. Consideration will be given to changing the designated land use from Low Density Residential (RL) to Agriculture (AG) and a change to the Official Zoning Atlas designation from Mobile Home and Residential Subdivisions District (M-1-S) to Agricultural District (AU), within the area described as follows: Seven (7) lots totaling an approximate 7.01 acres located in the Holiday Lake Estates subdivision, on the east side of Serene Lane, approximately 0.85 miles north of US 98, 0.41 miles west of N Lake Drive, and 0.64 miles east of Arbuckle Creek Road; the address being 732 Serene Lane, Lorida; and legally described as follows: Lots 1 through 7, Block 5, Holiday Lake Estates, according to the Plat thereof as recorded in Plat Book 10, Page 12, of the Public Records of Highlands County, Florida. A copy of this notice is available for public inspection during regular business hours in the Office of the Clerk of the Board of County Commissioners at the Highlands County Government Center, 590 South Commerce Avenue, Sebring, Florida 33870. The proposed Ordinance and Resolution may be inspected by the public at the Highlands County Zoning Division, 501 South Commerce Avenue, Sebring, Florida 33870, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, except holidays.
